This app and website are operated by KH Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Vurvo mobile application (the "App"). By using Vurvo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: When you select your favorite NFL team, we store that preference locally on your device.
• Usage data: We collect anonymized data about how you use the App, such as which features you use and how often, to improve the App. This data is tied only to a random, app-generated identifier (not your name or any personal identity) and is sent to our analytics backend, Google Firebase. It is never used for cross-app advertising or tracking.
• Device information: We collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.
• Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to send you breaking news alerts about your team.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store:

• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it
• Payment or financial information
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or other personal files from your device
• Social media credentials or account information

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize the App experience based on your selected team
• Send push notifications about breaking news related to your team (only if you opt in)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve App performance and features
• Fix bugs and technical issues

Third-Party Services

Vurvo aggregates publicly available content from third-party sources including ESPN, NFL Network, YouTube, and various podcast providers. We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties. When you interact with content from these sources, their respective privacy policies apply.

We use the following third-party services:

• YouTube Data API & YouTube RSS feeds: Used to fetch team videos. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• ESPN public API: Used to display each team's current win/loss record and standings.
• Apple iTunes Search API: Used to look up podcast feeds. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Expo / EAS: Used for app delivery and push notifications. Subject to Expo's Privacy Policy.
• Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore): Used to store anonymized usage analytics and aggregate community "like" counts. No personal information is sent to Firebase. Subject to Firebase's Privacy and Security information and Google's Privacy Policy.
• RSS2JSON: Used in some cases as a fallback to convert RSS feeds into readable content for the App.

Newsletter & Email Signup

If you choose to subscribe to the Vurvo newsletter on our website (vurvo.app), we collect the email address you voluntarily provide so we can send you Vurvo app updates, new-feature announcements, and Vurvo news. These emails are managed through MailerLite, our email service provider, and are subject to MailerLite's Privacy Policy. We use newsletter emails only to send Vurvo product updates and news. We do not sell or share your email address, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Data Storage and Security

Your team preferences and saved content are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and are not transmitted to our servers. Anonymized usage analytics and aggregate community "like" counts are transmitted to and stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data we do process, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Push Notifications

Vurvo may send push notifications about breaking news related to your selected NFL team. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings app. We do not use push notifications for marketing or advertising purposes.

Children's Privacy

Vurvo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since Vurvo stores preferences locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App. If you have any questions about your data or want to request deletion of any data we may hold, please contact us.
